Description All 8th Grade students become Entrepreneurs in Mrs. Gibbs class. Here are the businesses that students have created over the years. 2008-2009 Semester Classes 2008-2009 TAG Classes 2007-2008 2nd Period Businesses | | 21 - "Drop and Give Me 50" - 21 is a sports complex that will have basketball courts, a baseball field, weight room, hockey arena, football field, and a soccer field. In addition to that we shall also have a food area and a gift shop. | | | RACCET- "All your tennis needs..and MORE!" RACCET is your casual tennis pro shop with all the extras you need. We offer health classes, refreshment café', private trainers, closed off tennis courts, and merchandise for your hobby of tennis designed by the owners at RACCET! Commercial | | | Magel - "Grab life by the Magel"- Magel is a helmet that you put on that you can watch movies and listen to music in. It is practically a whole theatre in a helmet. You order your movie online using wi-fi, and it has built is itunes. Once you put the helmet on the screen will appear to be 36 in' and is LCD. You can buy it online or in major store chains like Wal-Mart. | | | Momo's Pet Palace - "We do Monkey Business"- Momo's Pet Palace is an exotic pet store that sells snakes, lizards, ferrets, fish, birds, and more. We also sell pet supplies like tanks and pet food. Commercial | | | Splash Bottling Company Inc.-"Why settle for one flavor when you can have a Splash"-We make a drink called Splash it is a drink that can change from one flavor to another. All you have to do is say the drink you want and it appears it is very difficult to make but we make it. Commercial | | | iMaid - "We cook, clean, and everything in between!"- Our company makes a very hi-tech maid called an iMaid. It can clean both the inside and outside of your house for as little as$1000! Whop wouldn't want to get one and never have to lift a finger again! Commercial | | | Build-A-Boyfriend - "Love at first Fluff!" At our store you can build a boyfriend. You make you dream doll at our store and take him home. Once you kiss him he becomes your dream boyfriend. If you want him to be a doll again all you have to do is put a drop of vinegar on him. Commercial |
4th Period Businesses  | Bikini Builders INC. - "The Bikini of Your Dreams" - At Bikini Builders INC., you can build your own, personalized swim suit. You can make it and style, color, or pattern. After you create your swim suit and buy it, it will be available for others to buy. People who are less creative can browse through your creations and buy your swim suit. Commercial |  | Hey.girl.hey accessories- "Don't live a little...live more on the wild side with Hey.girl.hey"- We are stocked with the cutest accessories from purses, shoes, jewelry, and so much more. We are a cheap store, but we have products of the highest quality. Commercial |  | M & M Zoo and Aquarium- "Everyone's Favorite Zoo!"- Our zoo features 100, 000 animals featuring about 800 species on 300 acres of land. We offer many educational experiences, including petting zoo, duck ponds, and dolphin shows, for your family or school trips. We have gift shops and concessions. |  | T&K Island - "Get Away at T&K" - Our Island offers many features. We have Scuba diving lessons, an airline, a cruise ship and many more activities. You can stay at our five-star hotel and watch the cruise ship dock inside! We have several gift shops and five-star restaurants. |  | BLT - "There is Always Room at BLT Airways" - We make and sell planes, and we have our own airline. We also have a section of our company that makes model planes that we sell in airport gift shops. |  | Champion's Sporting Goods - "With a Name Like Champions, It Has to be Good" - We are a retail store who sells sporting goods to all customers. We sell sporting products and sporting equipment. We also sell clothes and clothing accessories. As you are leaving, make sure to pick up some candy from our candy section. |
2006-2007 Students had to create a Business Plan, Busines Documents (Logo, Letterhead, Advertisement, Brochure, and Hours of Operation Flyer), PowerPoint, and Website. They did a GREAT job! - Mer is a web based business that sells cow pictures. Their slogan is "We turn Moo into Mer" - Owners are Madeline, Emily, and Rachel
- BTHS (Bam The Happy Spam) manufactures a futurist product that produces a 3 course meal in seconds using a microwave. The product comes in a sippy cup and you just add water. Their slogan is "Only our Spam gives you a BAM!" - Owners are Zoe and Ellery
- Feminine is a retail shop that sells designer clothing and accessories. Their slogan is "A little look of Paris" - Owners are Maggie and Lauren
- First String Sporting Goods is a retail shop that sells sporting equipment, primarily to school and recreational centers. Their slogan is "We sell for the best" - Owners are Riggs and Drew
- Triple A manufactures a futurist product that provides you with several stores in one small box. You push a button on the box and you are transported into the box with the stores of your choice. Their slogan is "We have everything you need....and more! All in a box!" - Owners are A.J., Alex, and Alicia
- Game Day Sports Grill is a cafe where you can eat and watch the "Big Game." Their Slogan is "Come for the Food, Stay for the Game." - Owners Zac and David
- ZEBA is a company that breeds exotic animals. Not only do they breed them, but they also have the animals on show at their zoo. Their slogan is....... - Owners are Cody, Dustin, and Blaine
- the knot is a wedding planning and catering shop. They specialize in weddings but plan other events as well. Their slogan is "We'll help you tie the knot" - Owners Kirsten, Chandler, and Katie
- Chillville Sports Grill is a restaurant located near Auburn University. You can come eat and join the Tigers play. Their slogan is........ - Owners Hunter and Armand
- Big Bad Al's Saloon is a shop for pizza and paintball. You can eat pizza, play paintball, and purchase paintball equipment. Their slogan is ....... - Owners Alex and William
- Around the World Storage is a mini storage company. They have a great layout and great prices. Their slogan is "Show us the dough and we’ll give you the garage flo." - Owners are Scott and Alexander
