The Stanford Achievement Test (SAT-10), Otis-Lennon Ability Test (OLSAT), and the ARMT (Alabama Reading and Math Test) will be administered to ALL Athens Middle School students on March 24-March 31st and April 1st and 2nd. 

7th grade students will take the Alabama Science Assessment on April 6th and the Alabama Direct Assessment of Writing: 7th Grade on April 8th.

These tests are used as tools to help us measure the academic progress of your child and to assist in planning for the next school year. 

As a parent, you can help your child be prepared to do his/her best on these tests by doing the following:

1. Have your child at school on time.
2. Avoid checking your child out during the testing period (8:15-10:45).
3. Please send two #2 pencils with erasers.
4. Avoid stressful situations at home.
5. See that your child gets a good night's sleep.
6. Have your child eat a nutritious breakfast.
