My Education - I graduated with honors from UNA (University of North Alabama) in May of 2003 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education.
- I am certified in Business Education (6-12).
- I am certified in Career Technical Education.
- I received my Master of Arts Degree in Secondary Education (Business Education) at UNA in December of 2005.
- I completed some graduate work at Alabama A&M University as well.
Credentials - I have a Microsoft Office Specialist certification in Microsoft Word 2000 and PowerPoint 2003.
- I am proficient in the following Microsoft products: Word, FrontPage, Publisher Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- I have experience Microsoft Visual Basic.NET and Oracle Databases.
- I have experience with Apple Keynote, Microsoft Office for MAC, and Apple iPhoto.
- I also have experience with additional educational software programs.
Workshops

Teaching Experience - I completed my Student Teaching Internship at Allen Thornton Career Technical Center in Lauderdale County with cooperating teacher Kelley Joiner.
- I was a substitute teacher for Athens City Schools and Limestone County Schools for a short period of time.
- I filled a medical leave at Sheffield High School for 3 months.
- I was hired with Athens City Schools in November of 2003 as a part-time Technology Resource teacher and a part-time Computer Lab Aide at Athens Middle School.
- For the 2004-2005 school year, I was hired as a full time Career Technical teacher at Athens Middle School.
- Currently, I teach 7th & 8th Grade Technology (Computer Essentials).
Work Experience - I have also worked at the following establishments: Carmike Cinemas, Hobby Lobby, and Things Remembered (all of which are located in Florence, AL).

- I have one older sister, one older brother, one younger brother, and two younger sisters (twins).
- I live in Athens, AL with my husband Paul, my son Daniel, and daughter Addison.
